In Depozit the AI does one job: it reads your supplier documents (invoices, NIR notes, delivery notes, credit notes) from a photo or PDF and turns them into stock lines for you to approve, so nobody has to type them in. Every page it reads uses a small amount of computing, measured in tokens (little pieces of text and image detail). We count what each document costs at the AI provider's list price and take it off your monthly credit.

No. Keep using Epos Now (or any till) for checkout. Depozit adds the inventory layer: receiving, batches, expiry, stocktakes and reports. If your Epos Now plan includes API access we sync products and sales automatically; otherwise you can import sales CSVs.
Very good on clear PDFs and photos, but every document goes through a review screen before stock changes. Calculation mismatches, missing quantities and unusual lines are flagged for you.

AI credit is the monthly allowance for the AI reading your supplier documents. Each document is counted at the AI provider's list price (a typical invoice is a few cents) and deducted from the credit; the remaining amount is shown in Goods receiving. When it is used up you can still enter receipts manually, and the credit resets at the start of the next month. Bigger needs: ask for a quote.
